History
Apex started in 1993 as a trading house for piling and foundation contractors — jacks, pumps, engines and the accessories that keep them running. Knowing that equipment intimately is what made the move into contracting possible.
In 1995, Apex International Construction & Land Dewatering L.L.C. was formed to design and install deep well systems for deep excavations. Land dewatering was formally added to the trade licence in July 2004.
The company now executes land dewatering contracts and sub-contracts, tie-back anchoring for shoring wall support, and compression static load testing for piles.
Timeline
Mr. S.P. Singh Oberoi starts the business as a stockist and distributor supplying piling and foundation contractors with jacks, pumps, engines and accessories.
The group moves from supply into contracting, taking on deep well system design and installation for deep excavations.
In July 2004 land dewatering is formally added to the licence, and the company takes its present name — offering dewatering contracts and sub-contracts in its own right.
Land dewatering, anchoring and trading operate together from Al Aweer and Ajman, with in-house engineering, AutoCAD drawing and a mobile repair team.
How we are set up
Workshops at Al Aweer in Dubai and in Ajman, fully equipped to handle emergency works at any hour. Both hold spares for pumps, engines and machinery, and the dewatering accessories needed for jobs of any magnitude — backed by the group's own trading house so parts do not wait on an import lead time.
General repair of all construction equipment is handled by a team of professional mechanics who stay mobile and cover site breakdowns around the clock. On a live dewatering system, a pump that stops is a flooded excavation, so response time is the whole point.
Trained crews for dewatering jobs of all types, competent across varying depths and different soil strata. Project requirements are implemented with full support for on-site activity, and the engineering wing monitors each project continuously while the system runs.

Methodology during execution is explained through drawings generated by professional AutoCAD personnel, so the method statement a main contractor receives is a drawn scheme, not a description.
Apex is an approved contractor with Dubai Municipality, Roads & Transport Authority, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Federal Electricity & Water Authority, Ajman Municipality — including work under Right of Way and municipality corridor guidelines.
