Deepwell dewatering
One pump per bored well, drawing the water table down across a large or deep excavation.
Submersible pumps sit in the water they are moving, which removes the suction-lift limit that caps surface pumps at around nine metres. Apex supplies submersible type pumps in Dubai for drainage, sandy water and waste water.

Overview
Submersible type pumps in Dubai are used wherever water has to be moved from below the reach of a surface pump. Because the unit sits in the liquid, there is no suction lift to overcome — the pump pushes rather than pulls.
That is what makes deepwell dewatering possible: each bored well carries its own submersible pump, sized to the drawdown needed at that point in the excavation.
The Apex range covers 80, 100 and 150 mm discharge at 5.5 to 7.5 kW, reaching 39 m maximum head and running to 30 m depth. Double mechanical seals and ball bearings suit continuous duty in sandy water, and impellers are available open or enclosed.

Applications
One pump per bored well, drawing the water table down across a large or deep excavation.
Waste water transfer and site drainage where the pump must sit in the sump.
Continuous duty in abrasive water, which is what the double mechanical seal is there for.
Questions
The Apex range is rated to 30 m maximum depth. Because the pump sits in the water rather than lifting it from the surface, depth is limited by the pump's own rating and cable, not by the nine-metre suction limit that constrains surface pumps.
Yes. Liquid nature is specified as sandy water through to waste water, with a 10 mm solids passage and double mechanical seals to keep abrasive particles out of the motor.
Both are used. Single-stage units cover most drainage duties; multistage units generate higher head from the same discharge size, which matters when water has to be lifted a long way out of a deep well.
The listed models are 50 Hz, three phase, direct start, from 5.5 to 7.5 kW. Site supply is usually taken from the dewatering system's own generators, which Apex holds from 30 to 400 kVA.
